March is National Professional Social Worker Month
Every day, more than half a million social workers wake up knowing they will help a child, a family, or an organization reach its potential. They strengthen communities, one family at a time. They support humane changes in policies and legislation that improve the lives of everyone. They make a difference.
March was officially designated National Social Work Month in 1984 by The White House. And each March, Bethany for Children & Families and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) recognize the dedicated efforts and hard work of America 's professional social workers.
